Mission Scenarios Catalog
Every scenario below is generated from our mission-pattern engine — grid, orbit, corridor, or expanding-square — running on real-world Cesium terrain. Configure once, deploy to any of the 11 cities.
Orbit a 60m cell tower at fixed standoff, capturing photos on each face.
Objective: Hold 15m standoff, gimbal -10°, capture ≥8 photos.
Traverse a bridge span at low altitude with gimbal aimed upward.
Objective: Hold 8m standoff below deck, gimbal +45°, capture ≥12 photos.
Vertical serpentine over a building face for defect detection.
Objective: Cover façade with 4m grid, gimbal 0°, capture ≥20 photos.
Autonomous serpentine survey of a 200×300m Iowa corn field at 40m AGL.
Objective: Even coverage, ≥80% overlap consistency.
Spray a 150×200m Central Valley almond block with boom control and wind compensation.
Objective: Cover ≥95% of grid cells, minimize over-spray and off-target drift.
Napa Valley vineyard: tight 6m row spacing, 15m AGL for canopy NDVI capture.
Objective: Maintain row alignment ±1m, gimbal -45°, ≥40 captures.
Orbit a Kansas center-pivot irrigation circle to inspect sprinkler nozzles.
Objective: Hold 20m standoff from pivot arm, gimbal -20°, ≥12 captures.
Nadir grid pass with 70% side-lap for 3D model reconstruction.
Objective: Grid coverage @ 60m AGL, gimbal -90°, ≥60 captures.
Search & Rescue expanding-square sweep from a last-known datum.
Objective: Detect hidden target within FOV cone for 2s.
Follow a multi-vertex powerline route at safe standoff.
Objective: Hold 10m standoff from conductor, capture ≥15 photos of insulators.
Built on a reusable engine
Every scenario above is ~50 lines of config over four generators: grid (agriculture, spray, photogrammetry), orbit (tower/turbine inspection), corridor (powerlines, bridges, pipelines), and expanding-square (SAR). New scenarios ship as data, not code.
